Dr. O'Donnell has 30 years of experience, with expertise in the treatment of acute and chronic or overuse injuries as well as sports injuries using research based therapies and rehabilitation. 

Dr. Amy M. O’Donnell graduated from the College of New Rochelle and received a B.S. in Biology. She trained at New York Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She has the following certifications:

Board Certified in Chiropractic Orthopedics – fewer than 10% of chiropractors undergo the rigors of the 340 hour board certification training, which includes over 30 hours in each of the following: Differential Diagnosis, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, Orthopedics, Clinical Laboratory and Rehabilitation.

Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner – a year-long certification including training in advanced principles of upper extremity and lower extremity manipulation, TMJ, ribs and shoulder girdle, foot and gait analysis and orthotic fitting, soft tissue methods for the spine and extremities, global patient assessment and rehabilitative exercise.

In practice for over 30 years in Fairfield County, Dr. O’Donnell has served on professional and non-for-profit boards including:

  • Chairperson of the Ethics and Grievance Committee for the Connecticut Chiropractic Association
  • President of Entrepreneurial Women’s Network of Greenwich/Stamford from 1986-1989
  • Served on an advisory committee for the state of Connecticut Department of Public Health
  • District Director of Connecticut Chiropractic Association- 1995-1999 and presently
  • Board member of Greenwich YWCA

Dr. O’Donnell enjoys skiing, biking, swimming and working out. She was an avid runner and ran the Hartford Marathon in October 2007 to raise money for The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. She completed a sprint Triathlon in October 2009.

She was affiliated with Greenwich Hospital Center for Integrative Medicine from September 2007- September 2011. Upon its closure she relocated her practice to the Old Greenwich/Stamford border on Route 1 where she practices within the physical medicine/rehabilitation suite. She resides with her husband and 20 year old son in Wilton, CT.
